Wang Liuqing wins Welcome to the U.S. Photo Contest

This photo always reminds me of my confidence in overcoming difficulties: yes, I can make it!

Colorado is a state of fitness. People here love sports so much and I am totally overwhelmed by people's attitude and actions about different exercises. Right after I settled down, I started to run every day and cycle every weekend in order to keep myself energetic and enthusiastic about work and life in Colorado. The photo was taken on the top of Bear Creek Hill in Denver on a Saturday. That was my first non-stop cycling up the hill for 3 hours. It was very hard because I was riding a regular bike and I never had riding experience.

Sun Liang presented to a delegation of English teachers in Sichuan province about Multiple Intelligences

It was my great honor to be able to participate in TCLP, which made the 2009-2010 Academic year, the most rewarding year for me thus far in my professional life. Every teacher can improve upon their teaching practices, and having the opportunity to learn about a different education system, allowed me to reflect and improve the way I teach to my students in China. `

Alumni Update: Tan Lihua

Tan Lihua's proud students show off their poster making projects

.

My “new” teaching life began on September 1st. The night before I met my new students, I couldn't sleep at all; excited but worried. How can I teach them with both Chinese way and American way? How can I help them get some original English resources? I've got too many questions in my mind. However, the moment I stepped into the classroom, their smiles on the face inspired me with great courage and confidence. They are very good students, polite、well-behaved and dedicated.
