Teaching Objectives: By the end of this activity, students will be able to greet to each other in Chinese saying “你好”freely. know how to show the respect to others when they greet to teachers, principals and parents instead of saying “你好”, but saying“您好”. (Students from K should just be able to say these two phrases. Students from G1-G3 should be able to say these two phrases, and also know the difference between the two phrases. Students from G4-G6 should be able to say these two words, know the difference between the two phrases and try to remember the two Chinese phrases with the Chinese characters and greet to different people in different ways.) know some other greetings for some special situations. Arabic 2 puts emphasis on the student in the world that surrounds him .The study of Arabic will encourage the students to develop respect to other culture and will provide skills needed to facilitate studies of more language.
