Give a presentation about architecture in the Arab countries.

The students are able to say turkey/brown/thank you and you are welcome in Chinese. The students are able to read the Chinese names of colors or match the word cards with them to find the correct colors of the Thanksgiving turkey worksheet. The students are able to say thank you in Chinese and students in G3-5 will design thank-you cards.

The students are able to recognize 4 more family members (elder brother, younger brother, elder sister, younger brother) in Chinese. 2. The students are able to say I love… (wo ai ba ba—I love dad) to express the love to dad and can even make sentences—I love my dad, etc. Performance task—What will students do to show what they have learned? The students will find the right word card according to teacher’s instruction. The students will use “wo ai…” by putting on the right finger family member to show their love. The students can sing the thank you song using family members.

Performance task—What will students do to show what they have learned? The students will find the right word card according to teacher’s instruction. The students play Bingo, memory game or Pictionary about Christmas words. The students will finish the project Christmas fortune-tellers.
