The students are able to recognize some Christmas words (Santa Claus—圣诞老人,reindeer—驯鹿,sleigh—雪橇,candy cane—糖果,gingerbread—姜饼,gift—礼物,bell—铃,Christmas tree—圣诞树, wreath—花环,candle—蜡烛) in Chinese. Performance task—What will students do to show what they have learned? The students will find the right word card according to teacher’s instruction. The students play Bingo, memory game or Pictionary about Christmas words. The students will finish the project Christmas fortune-tellers.
