In this section, kids learn yo sing a popular family finger song in Chinese. They also learn to make their family finger puppets, whcih is great fun for them. When they finish their family tree, they can say those family members in Chinese when pointing at them. This section is easy so i add some cullture contents--how to use chopsticks. After kids learn how to use them, they will use chopsticks to pick up the colorful balls as a game. In this way, they are also given an opportunity to review color and counting numbers.

We learnt body parts last month and this month we try to learn animals in Chinese. When kids finish folding the paper, they are required to draw different body parts of the animals so we can just review while we are learning something new. Kids are supposed to say 8 animals in Chinese and recognise them when they hear the sounds of them.

In this section, kids are supposed to recognise and speak out the different parts of body including head, eye, nose, mouth, hand, foot, leg etc. When they hear the words, they can touch their body and when I touch my body parts, they can speak it out in Chinese, too. To achieve this purpose, we sing a song, play a tthree games. This month, we also celebrate Chinese New Year by coloring and cutting Chinese character “福”. We learn the meaning of it and play a game called "Touching Fu". On valentine's Day, we learn to say "I love you." in Chinese with their guesture.
